Boatia was founded by three passionate friends with a shared love for the sea, adventure, and authentic service. The team combines years of maritime experience, hospitality, digital know-how, and lifelong trust—built over decades of friendship and partnership.

Karlo

Karlo is a certified skipper with maritime education and additional training from Croatia Sailing Academy (CSA). With sailing experience across European waters and a talent for guiding guests beyond the obvious, Karlo also leads sailing courses and plays an integral role in every planned journey. Tamara – Co-Founder & Guest Experience Coordinator

Tamara

Tamara is a university-educated administrative legal specialist (upravni pravnik) who discovered her greatest joy at sea. Trained by Croatia Sailing Academy as a stewardess, she ensures every guest enjoys outstanding comfort onboard—managing food, drinks, and the overall onboard experience with grace and care.

Matija

Matija is the technical and creative mind behind Boatia. A lifelong friend of Karlo since early childhood, he brings a deep sense of trust and commitment to the business. He manages the website, online presence, media content, and guest communications, supporting smooth operations and ensuring every question is answered promptly and personally.

Ultimate team mission
